Pola whitening is a take home advanced cosmetic teeth whitening system. The system works by making dental trays in the surgery and then applying the pola night dental bleaching gel to the inside.
1. Use 1/4 syringe in a top tray and 1/4 in bottom tray per application ie 1/2 syringe for one days treatment.
2. Wear for a minimum of 2 hours for 6 consecutive days.
3. If teeth become sensitive remove and apply senitive toothpaste eg sensodyne.
4. The longer you wear the trays the better the result.
5. Results can vary due to the variable hardness of enamel covering your teeth. Some peoples teeth will whiten considerably better than others. Grey shade teeth whiten less readily. However everyones teeth will whiten to a certain degree.
6. Following an initial course of treatment for 6 consecutve days you can top up from time to time by purchasing syringes at £ 40.00 for 2 syringes which give a 4 day supply.
7. Store your syringes in the fridge and keep your trays safe as they are expensive to have remade.
8. The results of the bleaching will last longer for those who refrain from smoking and consuming foods that contain tannins eg tea, coffee, chocolate and red wine.
While every attempt has been made to inform you of the extent of whitening that may be anticipated, everybody's teeth vary and the degree of whitening may not always be achieved. Some teeth will not respond to this whitening procedure and crowns and veneers likewise will not be affected.
